These limited edition fine art prints (both the different-sized full-color and black & white editions) are limited to 45 prints; each print is signed and numbered and includes a certificate of authenticity.
The black & white image is from Carol’s original watercolor painting (converted to black & white) featured in Skip’s book, Imposters: The Flies We Fish and the Fish They Catch. It is the head-piece for the eleventh essay in Skip’s book titled “Net Deficit”, and is also featured on the title page in the front of the book.
The full-color version is a print of the original watercolor that was published in Big Sky Journal with Skip's essay called "Swinging Streamers" (Big Sky Journal, Fly Fishing Issue, 2025).
The original image was painted with Daniel Smith extra-fine watercolors on Arches hot-pressed watercolor paper. Both the black & white limited edition print and the full-color limited edition print are reproduced on Epson Velvet Fine Art Paper (an archival paper) with Epson's archival inks.
