These black & white limited edition fine art prints are from Carol's original graphite pencil drawings featured in Skip's book, Imposters: The Flies We Fish and the Fish They Catch. Each different-sized edition is a limited edition of only 45 prints, each signed and numbered and includes a certificate of authenticity. This image of five flies is found on page v in the front matter of Skip's book, and each fly is also featured in various essays.
The fly names, and the essays they appear in, are as follows:
1. Top left: "Cowdung," 10th essay, titled, like the book itself, "Imposters"
2. Top right: "The Sort of Nymph I'd Have Tied in My Twenties," 6th essay, titled "Fear the Nymph, Part II"
3. Middle: "Muddler Daddy," 12th essay, titled "Welcome Back, Wet Fly (or, Zern's Concerns)"
4. Bottom left: "Royal Wulff," 3rd essay, titled "The Man Who Amazed Fly Tiers"
5. Bottom right: "Carey Special," 13th essay, titled "The Carey Special Store"
Approximate print image sizes:
- Large print image size is approximately 17.6”h x 12”w (the large edition is limited to 45 prints),

The original images were drawn with Faber-Castell 9000 German pencils on Legion’s Stonehenge White acid-free-250gms-100% cotton paper. This limited edition print is reproduced on Epson Velvet Fine Art Paper (an archival paper) with Epson archival black inks.
